Update: Further to EmIS message 067/2025, the designated operator of Spain, Correos y Telégrafos, wishes to update the situation following the power outage of 28 April 2025. Power was gradually restored throughout the day and night of 28 April. Accordingly, operations resumed at most Correos y Telégrafos facilities and post offices on 29 April, although a small number remained inoperative at the end of the day. It is expected that normal operations will resume across the entire Correos y Telégrafos network on 30 April. Correos y Telégrafos thanks all for their understanding and cooperation.

Update: Mail and parcels destined for southern France, Portugal, Andorra and Spain may be delayed due to a massive power outage nationwide. Our teams are standing by to catch up on any delays that may have occurred as soon as the power is back on.
