Portugal – Massive Power Outage

Update: Portugal, CTT Correios de Portugal, wishes to inform that Portugal has experienced a widespread power outage, starting at 11.33 (local time) on 28 April. The ensuing failure of communication and data networks has had a severe impact on the operations of CTT Correios de Portugal, with disruption to sorting and distribution centres, post offices and transportation networks (including airports). Every effort is being made, as of 29 April, to restore normal operations. CTT Correios de Portugal thanks all for their understanding and cooperation during this period.

Update: Mail and parcels destined for southern France, Portugal, Andorra and Spain may be delayed due to a massive power outage nationwide. Our teams are standing by to catch up on any delays that may have occurred as soon as the power is back on.
