Panama – Delays in Distribution

Update: Correos Panamá, wishes to inform that following negotiations with the competent authorities and the protesters, all roads blockages throughout the country have been lifted.  As a result, postal services have resumed as normal.   Furthermore, the post offices in the province of Bocas del Toro that were closed to protect postal workers and customers (serving postcode areas 0100, 0101, 0104, 0106, 0108 and 0103) have reopened.   Correos Panamá thanks all for their understanding.

Update: The designated operator of Panama, Correos Panamá, would like to inform that owing to protests which are resulting in road closures across the country, there are currently delays in the distribution and delivery of postal items.   This situation is also affecting message exchanges.   Correos Panamá thanks all for their understanding.
