Update: To enhance data quality with regard to item descriptions for Customs Declarations via CN22/23, the European Commission has published a list of Stop Words, which should not be used as item descriptions on CN22/23 forms.

To minimize any delay with Customs, we strongly advise you refrain from using any of the key words listed in the attached and be as descriptive as possible with details of your export as usage of any of the descriptions listed by the EU may prompt Customs Authorities to withhold your item, pending further investigation by an agent.
