Ecuador – Temporary Suspension Of Postal Operations

Update: Empresa Pública Servicios Postales del Ecuador (SPE EP), wishes to inform that as of 1 June 2025, operations at the office of exchange located in the city of Guayaquil (IMPC codes ECGYEA and ECGYEB) will be temporarily suspended.   This measure is being taken as part of an operational restructuring process with the aim of optimizing the universal postal service.   During the period concerned (i.e. commencing 1 June 2025), the functions and operations carried out to date at the Guayaquil exchange office will be assumed by the exchange office located in Quito (IMPC codes ECUIOA, ECUIOB and ECUIOC), which will continue to provide services on a regular basis.   Servicios Postales del Ecuador (SPE EP) is located at the following address:   Av. Manuel Córdova Galarza y Alborada (Pusuqui) 170308 QUITO ECUADOR   The suspension will be temporary, until further official notice issued by the national management with responsibility for postal operations.   SPE EP takes this opportunity to thank all for their cooperation and support in making the necessary operational adjustments to ensure continuity of service.
