Philippines – Heavy Rainfall

Update: Heavy rainfall causes flooding in Oriental Mindoro: Media sources reported that heavy rainfall caused flooding in parts of Oriental Mindoro, Philippines on December 8. According to reports, rainfall has affected parts of Naujan, Victoria, Mansalay, and Roxas. As a result, people from Roxas and the surrounding areas have been evacuated. Authorities have also placed several areas in Oriental Mindoro under alert for flash floods as heavy rainfall is expected to continue. Business and logistical disruptions are expected until weather conditions improve.
